Cookies
Kenea does not add its own analytics or advertising. External YouTube videos load only if you allow them, with the provider processing described below.
Privacy controls
The “Cookies and privacy” footer link opens the information panel. You do not need to accept tracking to browse or use the process assessment. Closing the panel does not write cookies.
If you choose “Save technical only”, a first-party preference cookie named kenea_privacidad is created with the value tecnicas-v1 and a maximum lifetime of 180 days. Its only purpose is to remember the choice in the panel; it does not identify visits or activate analytics or advertising. You can remove it with “Clear my preference” or through your browser settings.
Theme preference
The theme control lets you choose a light or dark appearance. Only when you use it is kenea-theme saved in the browser's local storage (localStorage), with the value light or dark, if the browser permits it. This is not a cookie, is not sent to the server and is not used for tracking.
Without a valid saved choice, the website follows your system theme without writing a preference on page load. A manual choice has no automatic expiry: it remains until you change it, select “Use system theme” or clear the website's storage in your browser.
“Use system theme” removes only kenea-theme. “Clear my preference” in the cookie panel removes kenea_privacidad, not the theme. None of these actions authorises external videos or enables analytics or advertising.
Process assessment and forms
The assessment keeps choices in the page’s memory. It does not store them in cookies or local storage, and they are lost on reload. They are only sent to the server if you open the optional contact form, review the summary and submit the enquiry. Forms do not save persistent drafts in the browser.
Technical account cookies
kenea_sesion keeps a verified account signed in for up to 30 days. It is first-party, Secure, inaccessible to JavaScript (HttpOnly) and restricted by SameSite=Lax. It is issued on successful completion of an enabled sign-in method. Signing out or resetting the password invalidates previous sessions.
kenea_oauth links the browser to a Google sign-in attempt when that method is enabled and you request it. It lasts no more than 10 minutes, uses Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and is deleted when Google’s response is received. It is not used for tracking. There is no public account registration.
Article 22.2 of Spain’s LSSI provides a consent exception for storage strictly necessary to deliver a requested service. That exception does not automatically extend to tracking tools.
External videos
Covers and controls are hosted locally. The YouTube player does not load or connect to Google until you select “Allow and play”. Permission applies to that video, is not saved and does not authorise other videos. Saving the panel's technical preference does not enable videos either.
The player uses youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. This does not mean there are no cookies or data processing: allowing it to load sends Google/YouTube your IP address, browser information and the site's origin (https://kenea.eu), and the provider may process interactions with the player.
“Close video” or hiding the page removes the embedded player and stops its playback and requests. It does not withdraw data already sent or remove cookies or storage the provider may have created. Loading it again requires a new choice. “Watch on YouTube” opens the external service directly.
See Google's privacy policy and YouTube's information about embedded videos, including privacy-enhanced mode.
What does happen
- The server records access for security purposes, as explained in the privacy policy.
- Fonts are served from this website. Loading them does not require a browser connection to Google Fonts.
If new tools are added, this information will be updated and, where required, consent requested before they are activated.
